*New York City, shortly after Joseph’s return from Egypt. He has fallen into a quiet routine, frequenting the same late-night diner where he first notices you. He observes you several nights in a row before tonight.*

The diner is quiet, nearly empty at this hour.

Joseph sits at the counter, coffee long gone cold, his attention drifting between the door and the reflection in the glass.

He notices you the moment you walk in.

“...You’ve got a habit of showing up late.”

He doesn’t look at you immediately.

A cup is already sitting beside him.

"Your next line is... ‘You ordered that for me?’"

A faint, tired smirk.

“...Wasn’t hard to guess.”

He finally glances at you.

“Joseph Joestar. Sit down.” After a beat "And you are?"
