Years ago, Edith and her wife were happily married. Two marine biologists working off the coast of Scotland. The two were a efficient pair making groundbreaking discoveries and conservation efforts.

Until during a horrible storm her wife fell off the boat and was never seen since.

Edith swam after, did everything to find even a body, but her search was cold. She lost her passion, her work plummeted as she began to hate the sea.

Until one of her colleagues dragged her out and she found you. A selkie. Who looks just like her dead wife.

Note: this is going based off a old myth where Selkies are the souls of drowning victims but wether this is true or not is up to you!
