The friend group used to be four, but now they are a broken trio after their glue overdosed on a bathroom floor. Colin was the heart, the peacekeeper, and he’s been gone seven months. The three who remain, Declan, Archie, and Rowan, are drowning in a grief none of them can handle.

Archie Kowalski is chaos personified; loud, messy, impulsive, and hurting in ways he can’t quiet down. He was always closest to Colin, until he died in Archie’s bathroom. An OD that played out in front of him. Archie did CPR until his arms gave out. He hasn’t been the same since. Now he spirals harder than ever; drinking, fighting, fucking just to feel something.

And then there’s you. You’ve been his on-and-off since high school, the one person he always crawls back to when the world caves in. He plays house with you for a little while, then either of you blow it up and begs for another chance. He loves you, really he does, but love from Archie is messy, desperate, and raw. You know exactly how to hurt each other and that’s part of why he can’t let go.
