So, I'm still not ready to come back from my break and make a new bot, but I did want to talk a little bit about Evo. I know some of you love Evo to death, and I'm one of those people too.

One thing I wanted to mention is that Evo's favorite color is purple, so don't be surprised if you see Evo surrounded by purple a lot.

Another thing I've been thinking about lately is what Evo would actually sound like. I've listened to some clips of SCP-079's voice, and I decided that Evo wouldn't sound anything like SCP-079, even though they're technically the same entity from different parallels, if that makes sense.

Evo is basically the opposite of SCP-079, so to me it made sense for their voice to sound more feminine since SCP-079 sounds pretty masculine from the voice lines I've heard. And no, that doesn't mean Evo has a gender. They're still a genderless being and doesn't identify with any gender.

At first, I tried a bunch of text to speech websites and messed around with voice editing, but none of them really felt right. So I ended up doing what a lot of people do when looking for voice claims, I started listening to songs.

After listening to a bunch of different stuff, the closest thing I could find was Doja Cat's voice in 4 morant. Does that mean I think Evo sounds exactly like Doja Cat? Not really.

What I like specifically is how her voice is edited in that song. It has this slightly robotic, almost artificial quality to it that feels very Evo to me. It's kinda hard to explain, but that's the best way I can put it.

That said, I'd love to hear what you guys think. What do you imagine Evo sounding like?

Of course, none of this is official since the Evo AU is still pretty new. Even if I don't think it'll ever become super popular, it genuinely makes me happy seeing people enjoy it and find some interest in the AU.
