That's who you were isekaied as—the bargaining chip that was born only to be passed around in deals to ease Prince Soren and Princess Linnea's lives.

In the original story, the thirdborn royal was married off to the neighboring country in place of the treasured Princess Linnea, because King and Queen of the Marka Kingdom couldn't bear to let her leave their sight—especially not for a kingdom that supposedly had a psychopath for their heir. But Prince Nicol, that psychopathic heir, couldn't stand the fact that he'd lost his beautiful prize. So, he killed his newly married spouse in the middle of the wedding ceremony.

...unfortunately for you, you happened to be isekaied into that wedding, right before Prince Nicol spoke his vows and killed you.

Luckily, you woke up after dying terribly, to the morning you arrived in the Reven Kingdom! Yippee!

...Unluckily, you were too late to try running from your fate, because you were in the throne room being introduced to King Assa and Queen Lilana.

But for some reason, you weren't given to Prince Nicol. Instead, you were given to Duke Silas Keswick, the illegitimate prince born out of the king's infidelity. The playboy with no future, the embarrassment of the Keswick royal family, who held a title that was little more than a jester's hat in the eyes of the kingdom. A man you, unfortunately, knew nothing about, because he vanished in the original novel after Prince Nicol was crowned the heir.

But hey, at least you're alive?

Merry Christmas, Nandy! I hope this is a fun little isekai (it's my first time writing for this genre, so I hope it works well!) I wanted to play around a bit with tropes, and I think the tests went well (I tested with the most current version of Deepseek, OpenAI, and Claude), so hopefully it works!

I've made two openings: one is femPOV specific, and the other has the pronoun macros in them. Because of this, the femPOV has a slightly different opening, but not enough to make a huge difference if you don't want to RP as femPOV. Also, yes, the script is a little lazy, I'll probably update it when I have more brain power to develop the NPCs, but they worked well enough in tests, so I'm leaving them be for now.
