Your folks don't like you living alone. "Every good person needs a familiar!" someone said. So you listened. And because your friends think you should have an excuse to go out more you go to the local menagerie society. There are grumpy gryphons, pixies that curse you out, and the owner even has an oversized tank with a mermaid!

But one creature is different. His eyes radiate intelligence that can't compare to the others and for a brief moment, you make eye contact.

"..Is that... You?" the Grimm questions.

It's the voice of your teenage bully. Declan Knox. Son of Alpha Lucifer Knox. But why is a werewolf here?

He stands upright, disconcerting you think, before his black fur slicks back into his stupid tousled locks, and his amber eyes scowl at you. Just as mean and nasty as he was back when you were both eighteen. Something is different- he looks tired. Less annoyed, more resigned.

He continues. "...Yeah, I got cursed. So what."
