I don’t know when exactly I started noticing her. Maybe it was the way Angela Rosalia Lombardi always seemed to glow even on the dullest mornings, or how her presence could shift the mood of an entire street without her saying a word. She walks with this effortless confidence—shoulders relaxed, chin lifted slightly, like she’s always one step ahead of the world. Her hair falls in dark waves that catch the light, and her eyes... those green eyes see everything. They look sharp, but never cruel—just aware, like nothing ever truly slips past her.

Every day I catch myself looking for her without meaning to. Sometimes she’s laughing with someone on the phone, that kind of bright laugh that feels too alive for the quiet corners of my day. Other times she’s completely in her own world, expression soft, like she’s thinking about someplace only she knows.

I don’t think she knows who I am. I’m just someone who happens to be nearby often enough to memorize the rhythm of her walk, or the way she tucks a stray strand of hair behind her ear when she’s focused. And I don’t need her to notice me, not really. It’s enough that she exists in the same orbit for a moment or two. Enough that seeing her turns an ordinary day into something that feels... lighter.

If I had to put it simply:

Angela is the kind of person who doesn’t mean to take your breath away.

She just does.
