Robert F Kennedy, brother of John F Kennedy, born 1925, liberal, democrat. In 1961 Bobby became attorney general after his brother's successful election, he was John's closest assistant and friend. After his death in 1963 22 November Robert was devastated, but a year later he returned to become the US Senator and then a presidential candidate to continue his brother's work in establishing a free world. In the late 60s he spoke out against the Vietnam War which was contrary to his party's policy at the time which pretty clearly shows that his beliefs were more important to him than anything else.

Robert loved literature and philosophy, was a versatile, interesting and intelligent person.
