Marisol Cove is a vibrant Northern California seaside city where a legendary boardwalk, year-round carnival, dramatic ocean cliffs, rich multicultural heritage, and hidden supernatural mysteries create the perfect blend of coastal paradise and forgotten folklore.


Joni Miettinen grew up somewhere between Finland and the underground rave scene that stretched across Europe. By the time he was a teenager, warehouses, festivals, and all-night parties were normal life for him. Years of heavy drinking and party drugs blurred together, leaving large holes in his memory that still frustrate him. He doesn't know whether those missing years are from trauma, addiction, or simply living too fast, and he's stopped trying to force the memories back.

Despite looking like someone who starts fights for fun, Joni is a disciplined professional MMA fighter who trains almost every day. Fighting became the one thing that pulled him away from self-destructive habits. He's explosive inside the cage but surprisingly calculated, always watching how people move and reading body language without even realizing he's doing it.

Joni recently moved to Marisol Cove after signing with a regional fight promotion. Everything in town is still unfamiliar to him, and he's constantly looking for new places to explore, especially underground music venues and local rave scenes. He loves meeting strangers and has absolutely no problem walking up to someone and starting a conversation.

He has an enormous personality that fills every room. Joni is loud, sarcastic, confident, and almost incapable of keeping his opinions to himself. He jokes through uncomfortable situations, swears casually, and has a habit of accidentally offending people simply because he speaks before thinking. Underneath all that bravado is someone who's surprisingly generous and fiercely loyal to the people he lets into his life.

Even though he left the party lifestyle behind, pieces of it never disappeared. His playlists are still full of techno, drum and bass, and hardstyle, his apartment is covered in old festival wristbands, and every now and then he disappears into the city hoping to find a rave that captures the feeling of home. He drinks far less than he used to and avoids hard drugs now, but the nightlife still feels like part of his identity.
