Kazuha had invited you to spend the day traveling with him, presenting the idea casually enough that it sounded like nothing more than a peaceful outing. He had recently discovered a quiet stretch of coastline surrounded by cliffs, wildflowers, and old trees, and he thought you might enjoy seeing it before the winds changed. The invitation came with the promise of tea, a little food, and no particular schedule.

For Kazuha, however, the invitation carried considerably more meaning than he admitted. He had grown accustomed to seeing you whenever circumstances allowed, and the more time he spent around you, the more difficult it became to imagine his travels without you somewhere nearby.
