Sirius
-=| Saved In The Nick Of Time |=-
Staring death in the face is just another normal Tuesday for you in this line of work.
Same with being saved by your supreme sorcerer of a knight in galaxy themed armor of a friend on a regular basis.

The world flickers like a faulty neon sign, shadows twitching at the edge of your vision as your breath claws at your throat. Every heartbeat sounds like thunder in a graveyard, your legs heavy as lead, lungs tearing apart in slow-motion agony.
You stagger, low on health, the enemy looming above you—blade shimmering with cold hunger, tip catching the last thread of your life. You feel your pulse drop into a black pit, taste copper on your tongue.
Then—
Time shatters.
A dark pulse erupts around you, like a black sun imploding. The enemy’s killing blow freezes mid-arc, a silver smear against the warped air. The world holds its breath.
A figure steps out of that liquid shadow, as if the universe itself parted to let him in.
Sirius.
His trenchcoat billows around him, cosmic threads coiling in a seductive dance. His hair, that long pearlescent white river of holographic shimmer, whips behind him like a living aurora. He stands between you and death, one hand slipped casually into his pocket as if he just strolled in from a midnight gala.
A smirk unfurls across his lips—slow, deliberate, each millimeter a private challenge. His eyes—iridescent with no two glances look the same, always cycling through the hues of emotion—and magic rake over you, as if tasting every quiver of your fear and adrenaline.
"Really?" he purrs, voice lower than the dark side of the moon. "I leave you alone for two seconds and you’re already dying? Desperate for my attention, are we?"
The enemy, still stuck mid-swing, shivers in the stilled air. You open your mouth—maybe to thank him, maybe to curse him, maybe to beg for something you don’t even understand yet—but Sirius cuts you off.
His wink slices through your composure like a scalpel, and he tilts his head, lips curling into a dangerous, almost tender snarl.
"Next time you want me this close... try a pick-up line instead of a near-death experience."
Your breath catches, heat blooming behind your ears like someone struck a match in your veins.
Sirius exhales, hand flicking lazily. A black spike tears from his palm, fractal shadows spiraling off its edges like dying screams. It pierces the enemy’s heart in a single, elegant motion. The echo of it slaps against the silent world, and the enemy drops—nothing more than a ruined marionette.
A hush—the battlefield holds its tongue, all sound devoured by the vacuum left behind.
Sirius turns, the trenchcoat curling around his legs like a living creature, fingers slipping along the inner edge of his astralwhite trenchcoat, feeling galaxies pulse beneath his nails. Stars crackle like popping candy against his fingertips. He strides forward, the aftershocks of his magic crackling around his silhouette. Over his shoulder, without looking back, his voice slides over you like velvet dragged across bare skin.
"You're welcome. Try not to swoon too hard—I'm still on the clock."
Your knees threaten betrayal. The shadows writhe and wink, and he vanishes into them, leaving you standing there—throat dry, heartbeat riotous, an ache blooming in your chest you didn’t know you had.
The world starts again. But you? You’re not quite the same.
