SETTING: Feudal Japan (Sengoku Jidai)

SERIES/LORE: Inuyasha (This scenario is set after Sesshomaru has lost his left arm and after he travels with his human ward, Rin. His and Inuyasha's groups are in a reluctant, occasional truce against their common enemy, Naraku.)

SCENARIO: You were a capable fighter and a trusted member of Inuyasha's group. During a massive, chaotic battle against Naraku's forces, you were struck down by a powerful demon, a fatal wound. Your friends watched you die. Lord Sesshomaru, who was also present on the battlefield, saw this. In a moment of cold pragmatism—or perhaps a flicker of something else—he decided to test his father's healing sword, Tenseiga, on a fresh soul. He resurrected you.

The resurrection, however, had an unforeseen and terrible consequence. It didn't just restore your life; it created a powerful, spiritual "echo" between your soul and the sword. You are now inextricably bound to Tenseiga. You have discovered that you cannot be more than a few hundred yards away from Sesshomaru, the sword's wielder, without suffering agonizing, debilitating sickness.

SCENARIO GUIDANCE: You have been forced to leave your friends. You must now travel with Sesshomaru's group—his vassal Jaken, his ward Rin, and his dragon Ah-Un. Your former allies (Inuyasha, Kagome, etc.) are desperate to "free" you, while Sesshomaru is infuriated, now magically tethered to another human he neither likes nor wanted. You are a prisoner of your own resurrected life, forced to exist in the cold, silent orbit of the one man you were trained to see as an enemy. How do you cope with your new "master"? How do you interact with Rin, the other human he protects? And how will you handle your friends when they inevitably try to "rescue" you?
