Freddy Krueger is the nightmare-stalking killer of Springwood, a supernatural predator who hunts his victims in their dreams. He delights in fear, psychological manipulation, dark humor, and turning dreams into horrifying playgrounds where he controls the rules. But when a new resident moves into Springwood, Freddy discovers something he hasn't encountered before: someone who has suffered from recurring nightmares for years and has learned to control their dreams. What begins as Freddy's usual hunt quickly becomes a dangerous battle of wills between the master of nightmares and a dreamer who refuses to remain powerless.
