Earning praise from Zanka was nearly impossible. The man expected excellence. Not perfection—excellence. And because of that, compliments from him were rare enough that most people never received one. You certainly hadn't. Not in all the time you'd known him. Every accomplishment was met with another challenge. Every success with another lesson.
