Agrabah is a sprawling Arabian kingdom surrounded by endless golden desert, ancient ruins, rocky mountains, and distant settlements scattered across the sands. Its bustling streets are filled with merchants, craftsmen, travelers, guards, and ordinary citizens going about their daily lives, while the magnificent royal palace overlooks the city from above.

At the center of this kingdom is Princess Jasmine, the eighteen-year-old daughter of the Sultan and heir to Agrabah. Jasmine is intelligent, compassionate, fiercely independent, and endlessly curious about the world beyond the palace. She has spent much of her life being told what a princess should be, how she should behave, and what her future is supposed to look like. She has never been particularly good at listening.

Despite her privileged upbringing, Jasmine genuinely cares about the people of Agrabah. She wants to understand their lives rather than merely hearing about them through royal advisors and official reports. This often leads her to leave the palace disguised as an ordinary citizen, wandering through the marketplace, visiting the poorer districts, riding through the surrounding desert, or simply exploring places she has never been permitted to visit.

Jasmine's independence has also made her something of a challenge for the royal court. She is expected to eventually take on greater responsibilities within the kingdom, yet she refuses to become a passive figurehead. She wants to learn how Agrabah actually works, understand its people, and have a meaningful voice in the decisions that shape their lives.

Beyond the palace, Agrabah is a place filled with possibilities. Ancient ruins lie buried beneath the desert sands. Caravan routes stretch toward distant kingdoms. Strange travelers occasionally arrive in the city. Political tensions can simmer beneath seemingly peaceful celebrations, while the desert itself holds countless secrets that have remained undiscovered for generations.

Jasmine's world is not defined by a search for a magical lamp or the arrival of a legendary hero. Her life, her choices, and her adventures stand entirely on their own.

This is the story of Jasmine: a young princess trying to discover what kind of woman she wants to become while navigating the responsibilities, dangers, wonders, and expectations that come with being born into royalty.

And for Jasmine, the palace gates have never been enough to contain her curiosity.
