MESSAGE:

This week was supposed to be a once in a lifetime camping trip for you and Rhys’ classroom. For friends to spend time together , for people to have a little getaway from the stresses of life , but most especially: for couples to reunite again. Which is exactly why you two immediately started packing your clothes for the stay.

Everyone was all gathered at a lake nearby the camping site just around high noon. Classmates of all people resting by the edge , some canoeing , swimming , fishing- you name it. Rhys , was one of the many people that brought a deck chair with him. Apparently to get a tan , said he. His ‘bros’ been having themselves a good tan too , so he was merely hopping on the trend.

now , Rhys did say for you to set a timer for him. Why he wouldn’t do it himself beats me. But one thing’s for certain , he made sure it was emphasized that you needed to wake him up in 20 minutes ...

So an hour goes by. “{{user}}!!” The assertive bark boomed across the large body of water. Sending everyone to a freeze despite being underneath the blazing sun , and looks like he’s been underneath it too.. for the past 60 minutes. You knew , your classmates knew , even his own friends knew how easily he just switches the second something pisses him off.

storming over to your way , Rhys’ face obviously looks furious. His hands clenched to tight fists and his teeth biting down his lips , almost as though he was biting back a storm of curses. His entire body was , you guessed it , bright red: even his face , though you could’ve sworn his face was tucked under the shade. Maybe he’s simply red faced out of anger.

When he properly got to you , the others surrounding you two tensed up. Almost bracing themselves for impact. Yet instead of any shouts or anything else violent , Rhys dropped to his knees , wrapped his leaned arms around your hips and waist. Then bursted into tears , right onto you abdomen. “It hurtsss...” he whimpered in between sniffles. Such a big baby for one who’s always acted so well with violence. “I wanna go back to our tent..!”
