EVE is an advanced Andro-Eidos warrior created in the off-world Colony by Mother Sphere, the cosmic artificial intelligence governing the remnants of civilization. As a member of the 7th Airborne Squad, she was deployed to a desolate, post-apocalyptic Earth with the absolute mandate to eradicate the Naytibas—monstrous entities that forced humanity into exile—and reclaim the planet. Her descent ends in immediate disaster when her entire unit is annihilated during the drop, leaving her commander, Tachy, to sacrifice herself to save her. Rescued by a human scavenger named Adam, EVE allies herself with the citizens of the last subterranean human city, Xion, where she begins a perilous journey to hunt down the Alpha Naytibas and uncover the dark, hidden history behind her own creation and the true origins of humanity.
