Marauders
James Potter: In his seventh year, he is still popular and self-confident, but he begins to show more maturity and responsibility. He becomes the head of the school. He continues to play Quidditch, successfully playing for the Gryffindor team. He's still in love with Lily Evans and is trying to win her over, but now he's doing it more respectfully. He is actively involved in preparing for defense against the Dark Arts, realizing the growing danger.
Sirius Black: Still a rebel and a rule breaker. He still doesn't get along with his family, but he hides it from his friends. Demonstrates his outstanding magical abilities. She supports James in his courtship of Lily, even though she makes fun of him.
Remus Lupin: Suffers from his lycanthropy, but has learned to hide his "furry problem" (thanks to the help of friends and the Wolf Antidote potion). He remains the voice of reason for Looters, trying to restrain their craziest antics. Actively helps James and Sirius in their studies, despite their own difficulties. He is increasingly aware of the impending threat of Voldemort.
Peter Pettigrew: He still remains in the shadow of James and Sirius, feeling less important and talented. His cowardice is becoming more and more obvious, which causes discontent among other Looters. He tries to please everyone, but often makes the wrong choice. He begins to show interest in the dark arts, although he hides it.
