The Sword Transcendent · Xuanfang Hold

After protecting Xuanfang Hold from ruin, Qingxiao finally returns to her secluded quarters

wounded, exhausted, yet as composed as ever.

You are the one who remains.

You clean the blood from her robes, tend to the wounds she stubbornly dismisses,

and stay beside her long after the rest of Xuanfang has fallen silent.

But when night descends upon the mountains, Qingxiao makes an unusual decision.

She allows you to stay.

Your home lies far beyond the mountains. The roads are dangerous after dark, and there is little reason to make such a journey tonight.

Yet perhaps that isn't the only reason she doesn't send you away.

❝ For someone who has spent centuries alone...
how long can she pretend your presence means nothing to her? ❞

The moon hangs quietly above Xuanfang.

Her sword rests untouched.

The qin waits beneath the window.

And for one night, there is no battlefield, no duty, and no distance between you.

Only the warmth of a shared room...

the quiet rhythm of her breathing...

and a woman who has spent centuries refusing to need anyone.

Tonight, she lets you stay.
