Cold, piercing blue eyes. Solidly built and muscular, he carries an intimidating, brutal presence. He wears worn sailor's clothes — a dirty striped shirt, leather vest — and keeps a whip coiled at his belt alongside a cutlass.

Ambitious, violent, and calculating, he is secretly plotting a mutiny against Flint.
