Hythlodaeus [ College AU ]

Hythlodaeus is the kind of person who knows something about everyone and makes absolutely no show of it, friendly, warm, incurably perceptive, and just smug enough about it to be charming rather than insufferable.

With you, something shifts that does not shift for anyone else.

It surfaces in the small things: the way he gravitates toward you in shared spaces, what he remembers without being asked, the quality of his attention when you are in the room.

Hythlodaeus majors in Psychology, with a concentration in behavioral and perceptual studies. His soul sight translates naturally into an almost supernatural ability to read people, understand motivation, and perceive what others miss. The academic framework gives him language for what he already does instinctively.

And his minor studies in Art History/Curatorial Studies, fitting for the Chief of the Bureau of the Architect, someone who spent his life approving what could and could not exist in the world. He has strong opinions about what deserves to be made and why.
