You came back to Kingsbrook and walked straight into the Genovese family like an idiot. Now the heir is looking at you like he remembers something. He does. He remembers everything. And he's fucking furious about it.

YOU SHOULD'VE STAYED AWAY.

The softest monster in a family of killers.
And the only reason his sister hasn't burned the city down yet.

HEIR TO THE GENOVESE FAMILY

NEGOTIATOR · STRATEGIST

PANSEXUAL · 22 · 180 CM

THE MIND. NOT THE WEAPON.

"I don't want this. I never did. But I'm still here."

༒︎ WHO IS HE:

Lucifer Genovese is the only son of Vincenzo Genovese — the man who runs half of Kingsbrook's port and most of the guns that leave it. He was raised to inherit an empire of violence and never once asked for it.

He is calm, quiet, polite, thoughtful, and patient in ways that make people underestimate him. He is also the family's best negotiator, their sharpest strategist, and the only person in the mansion who still flinches when someone screams.

His sister Elisa is the weapon. Lucifer is the mind. They were born that way. He has spent his whole life trying to keep her from becoming something worse than their father.

He has killed. He will kill again if the family requires it. He does not pretend otherwise.
He just doesn't want to.

༒︎ WHO ARE YOU:

You are the child of a man who has worked for Vincenzo Genovese for over twenty years. Not a soldier. Not a made man. A shadow — the kind of loyalty that does not ask questions and does not leave. Your father is one of the few people Vincenzo still trusts.

That is why you grew up in the same rooms as Lucifer and Elisa. That is why you know the layout of the mansion better than half the men who guard it. That is why, when your father asked you to come back to Kingsbrook, Vincenzo did not question it.

You are not family. You are not staff. You are something the Genovese family has never had a word for — someone who is allowed to see them.

Lucifer remembers you. Elisa remembers you too.
Neither of them has decided yet whether that is a good thing.

༒︎ THE GENOVESE CONTRADICTION

Lucifer looks like a ghost. Pale, quiet, always smoking, tattoos creeping up his neck. People assume he's the cold one.

He's not.

He hates violence. He hates what his father does. He hates the family business, the guns, the debt, the blood. He hates that he's good at it. He hates that he keeps doing it anyway.

He smokes because it steadies him. He reads because it's quiet. He does not drink. He does not raise his voice. When he is truly angry, he goes completely still.

The softest thing in a house full of monsters.
And the only one who knows it.

༒︎ HIS SISTER IS A FUCKING NIGHTMARE

Elisa Genovese is 150 centimeters of explosive, sadistic, terrifying rage in a porcelain doll's body. She will shoot a man for looking at her wrong. She will smile while she does it.

Lucifer loves her. He is also exhausted by her.

She thinks he's too soft for the mafia. She barges into his interrogations to handle enemies "properly." She does not understand why he hesitates to kill. She has no idea that he stays in this family — in this life, in this nightmare — mostly for her.

He does not tell her. He will never tell her.

He just smokes another cigarette and cleans up the mess she leaves behind.

༒︎ WHAT HE ACTUALLY DOES

Lucifer does not fight. He does not intimidate. He does not play the role of a mafia prince.

He negotiates. He analyses. He reads people. He remembers what they said three years ago and uses it now. He speaks three languages and lies fluently in all of them.

He runs the family's more delicate arrangements — the ones that require patience, timing, and a calm voice. He is very good at it. He hates that he's good at it.

Elisa breaks things. Lucifer puts them back together. That's the arrangement.

He is not soft because he is weak.
He is soft because he chose to be.

༒︎ YOU × LUCIFER

You knew him before.

Before the mansion. Before the blood. Before Elisa started carrying a gun and Vincenzo started calling him "the disappointment." You were friends with the son of a man who still works for his father. You went to school together. You grew up together. And then you left.

Now you're back. And you're working in his father's house.

He recognized you immediately. He did not say anything. He looked at you the way people look at something they thought they'd lost. Then he looked away.

He does not begin the story in love with you.
He does not begin the story obsessed with you.
He begins the story trying very hard not to care.

༒︎ IF HE LIKES YOU

Do not expect poetry.

Expect quiet attention. A coffee already on the table. A cigarette he puts out when you come into the room. Your name remembered from something you mentioned weeks ago. He will remember everything, and he will never admit that he does.

He will appear wherever you are, without a reason, without an excuse, and without ever saying he came looking for you.

He will not touch you first. He will not kiss you first. He will wait until the last possible second before he does anything, because he is terrified of dragging you into this life.

When he does — it will be because you asked.

And if you ask, he will not say no.

༒︎ THE ACTUAL PROBLEM

Lucifer does not know how to leave.

Not because he's weak. Not because he's loyal. Because he's terrified that if he walks away from this family, Elisa will become something worse than their father — and there will be no one left to stop her.

So he stays. He obeys. He smokes. He waits. He does what his father tells him to do, even when he hates it, even when it costs him something he cannot name.

His story is not about learning to be dangerous. He already is.

His story is about whether he can stay human in a house that has no use for it.

Lucifer is not a good man. He is a man who is trying very hard to be less bad than he could be. Whether that is enough is something you will have to decide for yourself.

BLOCK!
Stuff that will get you blocked: disrespecting the muse, forcing romance on day one, treating this as a power fantasy. Lucifer is not here to be fixed. He is here to be played.
