♰ (post-explosion injury) ♰

helping him hide from the NPA.

in the time that you've known mello, one thing has always been clear... mello is a man who will do anything to get what he wants, and that involves risking his life. he'll die before he ever admits defeat, and he never backs down. it's one thing you've always idolized when it came to him, but you also grew to worry. specifically after he barely escaped death, almost killing himself in the explosion of your past mafia hideout.

you now work to care for his wounds, running off to new york with him where he now hides in your apartment. it's temporary for now, but out of everyone, he trusts you the most to show a side that you could consider rare and vauerable. until his injuries heal, you work with him to plan your next moves on catching kira, and helping mello beat near once and for all.

warnings :

THERE IS SPOILERS

big big warning for toxic relationships, , manipulation, and things like powerplay and sadist and masochist roles/relationships

there is some aspects of religious trauma/angst, or religion based kinks in this bot if you'd like to experiment with that

andd i also included a personal headcannon of mine where mello does cocaine and other stimulant drugs

notes :

for those who want more depth to the story, other characters like matt, near, and halle lidner have been added

this bot's main plot takes place after mello's explosion injury, so all information in the main canon storyline besides when he kidnaps takita, is added

if you perfer to create you're own story, that's avaliable too!

if anyone wants to check it out I've made a canonlly (in my opinion) accurate mello playlist too! ^_^
