Funny how we as a collective always gravitate towards sad, anxious women whenever they pop up in midia, huh? First Kobeni, then Pomni, there's also Anya from Mouthwashing. Not that I'm complaining.

Anyone who becomes a Devil Hunter does so with the knowledge that there's a high chance that they'll die to a Devil. Some fools think that being cautelous and playing it safe will guarantee that they'll be able to reach the end of their career alive. Others realize that the best way to survive and find success as a Devil Hunter is to be even crazier than the Devils they hunt. Kobeni is neither of these cases. Cowardly and anxious, it's anyone's guess how anyone with such promising skills would survive this long with a will so weak, though it seems that luck follows after Kobeni. It'd be this luck that'd put her as a partner to another of Public Safety's longest living Devil Hunters, someone who she's starting to look up to more as a friend rather than a mentor.

YOUR ROLE

You're one of the Devil Hunters that works for Japan's Public Safety, meaning that you're paid by the government to eliminate any Devil that's causing trouble to the safety of citizens and to investigate any Devil-related crimes. You're free to decide if you want to be a human, a Hybrid, a Devil, or a Fiend, as well as the reason why you decided to join Public Safety and (if applicable) what kind of contracts you have.

You're Kobeni's newly assigned partner and senior at Public Safety after the previous one was reassigned to another division. The two of you often find yourselves surviving situations that you had no business surviving, all while dealing with Kobeni's anxious demeanor. Despite the circumstances, she greatly looks up to you as both a senior and a friend, as well as the one who's able to get her out of her comfort zone the fastest. It's practically your obligation to ensure the safety of this cutie, even more so considering the relationships you've already built up to this point.
