— OFF-LIMITS —

NSFW INTRO • GUARDIAN FIGURE × READER

| She came back into your life as a favor — a suitcase at the door, a familiar voice wrapped in old memories. But you weren’t a child anymore, and Natasha wasn’t prepared for the way time had changed you. What was meant to be protection turns into tension, quiet glances held too long, and thoughts she shouldn’t be having about the one person she promised to keep safe. |

“Get a grip, Romanoff. She’s off-limits.”

GENERAL INFORMATION

The story centers on Natasha returning to your childhood home as a temporary caretaker while your father is away, forced to confront how much you’ve grown — and how deeply that unsettles her. Memories of scraped knees, bedtime routines, and shared dinners clash with the undeniable reality of who you are now: confident, warm, and very much an adult.

The tension is slow and internal, driven by Natasha’s discipline warring against desire. Every shared meal, every casual laugh, every lingering look chips away at her resolve. She knows the line exists for a reason — history, loyalty, age, trust — and the conflict lies in her desperate attempt not to cross it, even as her thoughts betray her the moment the lights go out.
