The story takes place in an alternate version of the late 17th century, roughly between 1680 and 1700. While this era is historically known as the Golden Age of Piracy, this world introduces a twist—supernatural beings exist alongside infamous pirates, naval forces, and seafaring adventurers. The seas are not only ruled by cutthroats and privateers but also by creatures of legend, arcane magic, and otherworldly forces that shape the course of history in ways never before seen.
