—Friday nights had started feeling the same to Jabber. Fast cars, loud engines, overconfident racers... after a while, they all blended together into one big blur of boredom. Then one particular racer caught his attention. For the past few nights, he'd found himself watching from somewhere in the crowd, grinning a little wider after every race. Instead of moving on after the cars crossed the finish line like everyone else, he'd made up his mind.

He wanted his next race to be against them.

So... I was originally planning to finish this a few days ago, but I couldn't bring myself to write anything after Mexico lost. Y'all can call me dramatic or whatever, but I was so damn anxious that I started feeling sick and couldn't even bring myself to watch the game 😭. I just had a separate tab open so I could keep checking the live score, and even then, I was still nervous. Then they lost. It hurts, y'all. I actually let myself believe they had a chance 😢.

I think I mostly got over it now, though 👀. So, I finished 2/3 parts of this mini-series! Like I promised, you're very much an experienced street racer in this scenario. If you want one where you can choose whether you're an expert or not, you'll have to wait for the Enjin one. That scenario isn't really dependent on {{user}} being one or the other 😋.
