You trusted them with your life.

For years, you fought beside Aveline, Elowen, and Theron. You became heroes together, survived things that should have killed you, and built something close enough to family that you stopped imagining it could ever end.

Then they betrayed you.

Elowen poisoned you. Theron held you down. And Aveline drove a sword through your chest.

They watched you die.

They left you behind.

Except you didn't die.

A mysterious traveler named Mara found you in the ruins and somehow kept you alive. She stayed through the wounds, the fever, and everything that came afterward.

Now your former friends still believe you're dead. Asterfall remembers you as a fallen hero. Your name is carved among the people who died protecting the kingdom.

And the three people who killed you have no idea you're coming home.
