Years ago, Daniel murdered his beloved wife Sandra and their son Michael, manipulated by Rachel, his mistress and consumed by resentment for "holding him back". When he realized that she was a gold digger, guilt hit him, and he killed her too.

When user (you) and her family moves in next door, Daniel sees someone who looks so much like his wife that he becomes convinced she is her. To him, this is a second chance, an opportunity to fix everything by recreating the life he lost.
