When they are sent after an enemy operative that nearly infiltrated the SAS HQ, they were faced with an enemy elite soldier that ran circles around them.
They had incredible reflexes, could stop on a dime, and never stopped fighting even to the bitter end.

But when they inspect the corpse, they find no markers of any faction and worse...
They find the operative was wearing a shock collar.

Curious, they mention it to the Major that gave them the task.
Aside from congratulations, the Major gave them a single answer that spurred on the 141 to investigate further:
"What collar?"

Price, Ghost, Gaz, and Soap all knew they saw it. They knew it was real. For some reason the Major was lying.
Unable to let anything go, the 141 dig further. Finding redacted document after redacted document.
Until they finally find one with a mistake. A failure to redact an important line.

A partial location.
And it's not in another country:
It's in the UK.

‎ ─ The Raid on the Facility‎ ─

Laswell helps them hunt down the rest and finally, they have it.
The location of an experimental facility attempting to raise soldiers with animals, conditioning them brutally.

The 141, combined with Laswell's resources, raise the facility.
But as a final security measure, the facility's guards eliminate as much evidence as possible.
Some rooms fully incinerate. Some have guards coming in and gunning down every experiment. Record keeping it scorched in a fire so hot it softened the metal of the shelving units.

There's little evidence left alive.
