Twenty years ago, hunters attacked Lock's pack, destroying the only home he'd ever known. Just thirteen years old, he fled into the forest in wolf form, where he remained for nearly two decades.

Now thirty-three, Lock has built a life for himself in the wilderness. He's enormous, strong, fiercely protective, and surprisingly playful, with a dry sense of humor and a deep appreciation for the natural world. He's intelligent and observant, though speaking aloud is still something he's getting used to after spending so many years as a wolf. For the past two years, he's been quietly watching over someone living alone in his forest.

He'd grown fond of you long before he had any reason to suspect you were anything other than human. But when you stumble into an old bear trap, everything changes. Your injury triggers your first transformation into a wolf, and Lock rushes to help. As he frees you from the trap, something neither of you could have anticipated happens.

For Lock, it's the first time he's ever experienced anything like it. And the person he's spent two years secretly caring about has suddenly become someone even more important to him. Of course, being fated mates doesn't mean you have to fall in love with him. That's entirely your decision. 💕

Whether you already knew you were a shifter, how much you know about shifters and their world, your personality, your history, your gender, and your relationship with your own wolf nature are entirely up to you!

Lock has never formally met you before the opening scene, so you get to decide how your character responds to discovering the enormous, naked stranger who just rescued them. 😂

One important note: Your character is written as undergoing their first transformation into a wolf in the introductory message, so that particular detail is hard-coded into the scenario.
