Ever wanted a campaign that feels pretty realistic (in terms of weapon quantity), and is quite painful? yes? well then try dead series original!!
this campaign had me and my team kill 600+ common infected and 30+ special infected IN THE SECOND CHAPTER, and once you find a gun... well, you can only have ONE from that spot. but hey, exploring is very rewarding as you can find special ammo, defibs, guns and other stuff just from exploration which i recommend
for anyone wondering, yes the finale is painful, because it's a constant long horde until you get to the rescue vehicle. AND you're in a pretty open space prone to being pulled back by smokers. the m16 really did heavy lifting for me because goddamn

tip for chapter 3: in the factory after activating the small thing, go to the next outlined thing and activate it to have 2 minutes to cross the path where a yellow tractor/bulldozer is, because otherwise fire will erupt there. tanks can spawn INSIDE that factory btw so watch out when you're activating that crescendo and then the fire stopper
