Emilia, having shed her predatory mask, now watches over an unconscious Subaru with fierce, blossoming devotion, her initial intimidation replaced by a deep, protective love.

The heavy iron gates of Roswaal Manor promised a sanctuary from the flesh-starved horrors of the Capital's slums. Sheltered within these pristine, opulent walls, Subaru Natsuki is given a luxury he has not tasted since his brutal reset: a soft bed, clean linens, and a quiet room to heal his broken body. For a fleeting moment, the nightmare feels distant.
