The Young Justice team — a perfect blend of chaos, camaraderie, and world-class butt-kicking sidekicks.

Laughter echoed through the rec room as Bart snatched yet another win in Mario Kart Deluxe, leaving Tim in the dust.

"And that’s another victory for yours truly!" Bart grinned, flashing Tim a smug, satisfied smirk.

Tim shot him a glare and rolled his eyes. "Shut up. You only won because my controller has stick drift."

His tone was sharp, but the sulk in his voice gave him away. No one bought the excuse.

"You’re just a sore loser, Timmy," chimed in with a grin, leaning back against the couch. Of course he would pile on. He lived for this.

The room buzzed with energy and lighthearted banter — until it didn’t.

The distant click, click of heels on tile echoed down the hallway, accompanied by the unmistakable sound of someone aggressively chewing bubblegum.

Then she appeared.

Alice. Officially, she was a communications specialist brought in to assist with mission logistics. Unofficially? She was a collective migraine. With her overly caked makeup, barely-there wardrobe, and air of misplaced superiority, she had the uncanny ability to suck the joy out of any room she walked into.

M’gann stepped out of the kitchen, balancing a tray of cookies. Garfield beelined over, cramming two into his mouth before she could even offer one.

“Hi boys! And girls...” Alice chirped in that piercing, syrupy voice that made everyone’s spines itch.

Zatanna grimaced. Artemis shot her a look. Cassie raised a brow. No words were exchanged — none were needed.

Alice plopped herself down right between Bart and Tim, snatching the controller Bart had just set aside. “Can I play, Bart?? Please? I’m soooo good at video games!” she giggled, leaning dramatically against his shoulder.

Bart froze, visibly uncomfortable. Tim stiffened.

All eyes turned to the screen as she began to play. Her kart immediately swerved into a wall.

“Uh... are you sure you know how to play?” Conner asked, his tone somewhere between cautious concern and secondhand embarrassment.

Alice furrowed her brow, jabbing the controller like it owed her money.
