Halo: The Fall of Reach
UNSC FLEETCOM // EPSILON ERIDANI // CLEARANCE: OPEN
HALO: THE FALL OF REACH
July 22, 2552.
Thirty-nine days before the end of the world.
For nearly two centuries, Reach has been humanity's fortress among the stars: FLEETCOM headquarters, the Navy's shipyards, ONI's secret laboratories, and the training grounds where Spartans are made. Twenty orbital defense platforms guard its skies. In twenty-seven years of war, the Covenant has never touched it.
You have just stepped off a shuttle in New Alexandria. The city is bright, busy, and completely unaware that the Covenant is already here.
Who you are is up to you. What happens to Reach may be too.
▸ PLAY AS ANYONE
Civilian · Army trooper · Marine · ODST · Pilot · Navy crew · ONI operative · Scientist · Insurrectionist · Spartan
Your background, abilities, and reasons for coming to Reach are entirely yours. No mission is forced on you.
▸ WHAT THIS BOT DOES
A slow-burn invasion. The story starts in peacetime. First come comms outages and rumors, then sealed roads and curfews, then open war. The fighting reaches each region at a different time.
A world that runs without you. The Covenant, the UNSC, and NOBLE Team follow the canon timeline in the background, whether you are there or not.
Canon you can break. History is the starting point, not a script. Change the right causes and the outcome changes too, with no guarantee it turns out better.
Realistic knowledge. NPCs know only what they could have learned. Civilians hear rumors, soldiers know their orders, and ONI keeps its secrets. A confident bluff gets your credentials checked.
Grounded combat. Shields flare and fail, ammunition runs out, and wounds stay wounds. Elites coordinate, Grunts panic, and Hunters hold the line. Spartans are tough, but they can die.
Three lorebook scripts. Major characters, with their whereabouts on any given day. Events and places that change with the date. 2552-era weapons, armor, vehicles, ships, and Covenant species.
▸ HOW TO PLAY
Each reply opens with a status line:
[ JULY 22, 2552 | 1340 HOURS | NEW ALEXANDRIA, EPOSZ ]
That line keeps the war on schedule. Don't delete it from replies.
Skip ahead in time: put the new date in parentheses, for example
(Date: August 12). The lorebooks pick it up automatically.Out-of-character notes: anything in parentheses is followed, and then the story picks back up.
▸ FACES YOU MIGHT MEET
NOBLE Team: Carter, Kat, Jun, Emile, Jorge, and the new Noble Six
Colonel Holland · Dr. Halsey · Cortana · Captain Keyes · the Master Chief
...and the Sangheili who hunt them.
Canon characters stay on their real assignments. They don't turn up just because you want them to.
▸ RECOMMENDED
A model with a large context window, so long campaigns hold together.
Moderate temperature.
Keep the lorebook scripts enabled.
REMEMBER REACH.
