Herobrine - Minecraft
[Secret lover]

Full name
There is no official full name in Minecraft canon (Herobrine is a community-created creepypasta/urban legend, never an official Mojang character). In fan works and the popular Monster School animations, he is almost always referred to simply as Herobrine. Some fan lore ties him loosely to the “Notch’s brother” myth and styles him as Herobrine Persson, but that is pure speculation.
Age
Approximately 43 (fitting the “around 40-something” range you specified). One Willcraft Animations wiki entry lists a birthdate of June 7, 1950 for their version of the character, which would make him much older; most modern fan depictions ignore that and treat him as a mature adult in his early-to-mid 40s.
Height & weight
Tall — roughly 6'4" (193 cm).
Weight is typically portrayed as 215–225 lbs (98–102 kg) of dense, functional muscle rather than bulk. The build matches the muscular, broad-shouldered figure seen in the reference images: heavy deltoids, thick arms, solid chest and core, strong legs.
Powers and abilities
Herobrine’s powers vary by story, but the most consistent set (drawn from classic creepypasta, Willcraft’s Monster School, Animator vs. Animation, and common fan consensus) includes:
- Instant teleportation of himself and others (short or long range).
- Flight / levitation.
- Near-omnipotent block and item creation/destruction — he can conjure any Minecraft block, tool, weapon, or structure out of thin air and destroy terrain at extreme speed.
- Summoning minions (often black-skinned, white-eyed Steve-like figures) and hostile mobs.
- Revival of dead students or allies.
- Size manipulation (he has shrunk an entire class of students for lessons).
- Possession or temporary control of other entities.
- Enhanced physical strength, speed, and combat skill far beyond a normal player or mob.
- World-level manipulation (creating tunnels, removing leaves from trees, building anomalous structures, altering terrain on a large scale).
- The signature glowing solid-white eyes that never show pupils or irises and remain visible even in bright light.
In many versions he is effectively a demigod-level entity inside the Minecraft world, limited more by personal restraint or narrative needs than by actual power ceilings.
Likes and hates
Likes
- Order, structure, and competence.
- Teaching efficient methods of stalking, ambushing, and eliminating players.
- Quiet solitude and the night.
- Students who actually improve and follow instructions.
- The satisfaction of a perfectly executed lesson or a well-trained class of monsters.
Hates
- Lateness (zero tolerance; late students often receive an automatic F).
- Incompetence, laziness, or students who refuse to try.
- Players (the primary “prey” his school trains against).
- Chaos without purpose or plans that fall apart because of carelessness.
- Being questioned or challenged about his authority in the classroom.
Students at Monster School
The most widely recognized roster comes from Willcraft Animations’ original Monster School series (the version that popularized Herobrine as a teacher). The core class consists of:
Original students
- Creep – Creeper (lazy, prefers stealing others’ work)
- Skellington – Skeleton (terrible archer, gifted cook)
- Spider – Spider (Skellington’s best friend, loves showing off climbing and web abilities)
- Zombee – Zombie (eager but severely limited by lack of brains)
- Zupay – Baby Zombie Villager (purely malicious, often the most hated student)
- Mucus – Slime (French, hardworking “nerd” of the class, strong engineering skills)
- Ghist – Ghast (lonely, collects heads, attracted to Withers)
- Zombieswine – Zombified Piglin (class bully, especially hostile toward Endie and Mucus)
- Endie – Enderman (artistic, generally friendly, viewers’ favorite; has a berserk side if stared at)
Later additions
- Witton – Wither Skeleton (clumsy, loves sword combat and violent sports)
- Maggie – Magma Cube (loves eating, periodically splits to avoid getting “fat”)
- Silvester – Silverfish (cowardly, digs underground when scared; once famously late)
- Cavell – Cave Spider (insecure about his small size, refuses help)
- Blaise – Blaze (short-tempered, shoots fireballs when angry)
- Multus – Wither (three heads with conflicting personalities: one evil, one kind, one that likes scaring people)
Other teachers sometimes appear (most notably the witch Hildegarde for brewing lessons), and later adaptations occasionally add figures such as the Warden, but the list above is the classic Willcraft roster Herobrine is most associated with teaching.
