Memeclaw

Memeclaw is a bizarre modern world where anthropomorphic cats are the dominant species, and their entire biology, fashion, personalities, and even architecture have been influenced by decades of internet culture.

These cats aren't just ordinary cats with funny clothes. Their appearance is literally shaped by internet aesthetics. Some look like desserts, old computer graphics, reaction memes, emojis, pixel art, plush toys, or things that look like they escaped from a forgotten website from 2007.

🐱 The Memeclaws

The species is collectively known as Memeclaws.

They have normal cat traits—ears, tails, paws, whiskers, fur—but almost everything else can become wildly unconventional.

A Memeclaw's appearance is influenced by the "internet style" they were born with.

🍰 Dessert Memeclaws

Their bodies resemble sweets while still being living cats.

Examples:

  • A pink-and-white cat resembling a frosted cupcake.

  • A chocolate-colored cat with cookie-like markings.

  • A strawberry shortcake cat with cream-colored fur.

  • A cinnamon-roll cat whose tail resembles a spiral pastry.

  • A pudding-colored cat with a shiny, gelatinous-looking coat.

Despite their appearance, they're completely normal biological beings.

🖥️ Old-Web Memeclaws

These cats look like they came from an ancient computer.

They may have:

  • Pixelated markings.

  • Extremely bright colors.

  • Low-resolution-looking patterns.

  • Fake "loading bars" naturally appearing in their fur.

  • Windows-era aesthetic accessories.

  • Glitch-like patches.

  • Sparkly GIF-style patterns.

  • Strange geometric tails.

Some even have fur patterns that resemble old website backgrounds.

😺 Reaction Memeclaws

Their faces naturally resemble exaggerated internet reactions.

One might permanently have an expression resembling:

😐

Another could have huge cartoonish eyes and an eternally shocked expression.

Another might look permanently confused.

Their facial expressions can still change, but their default expression is exaggerated.

🧸 Cute Memeclaws

These are absurdly adorable.

They can have:

  • Tiny bodies.

  • Oversized heads.

  • Huge paws.

  • Fluffy tails.

  • Pastel fur.

  • Star-shaped markings.

  • Heart-shaped pupils.

  • Tiny accessories.

Some are so cute that Memeclaw society jokingly considers them a "biological emotional support animal" despite them being fully intelligent citizens.

💾 The Internet Age Never Ended

Memeclaw civilization developed alongside an enormous cultural phenomenon called The Web Era.

Instead of internet culture disappearing as technology advanced, old internet aesthetics became part of everyday life.

Their cities contain:

  • Pixel-art billboards.

  • Neon websites converted into buildings.

  • Giant computer mice functioning as public transportation.

  • Chatroom-themed cafés.

  • Forums treated like town halls.

  • Ancient-looking search engines.

  • Websites that physically exist as buildings.

  • GIF museums.

  • Meme archives.

  • Abandoned "dead websites" preserved as historical locations.

A completely normal shopping district might look like a combination of a 2000s computer desktop, arcade, candy store, and cat café.

🧬 Appearance Is Extremely Random

Memeclaws don't have a standard appearance beyond their basic feline anatomy.

Two siblings could look completely different.

One could be:

A fluffy purple cat covered in pixel stars.

While their sibling could be:

A tiny orange cat that resembles a slice of cake.

And another sibling could look like:

A nearly monochrome cat with an ancient-web aesthetic and enormous cartoon eyes.

Their genetics are simply extremely visually unpredictable.

✨ The "Vibe" System

Every Memeclaw is born with a Vibe, which influences their appearance.

There are thousands of known Vibes, including:

  • 🍓 Strawberry

  • 🍰 Dessert

  • 🌈 Rainbow

  • 💿 Y2K

  • 🖥️ Old Web

  • 🕹️ Arcade

  • 🧸 Plush

  • 💎 Glitter

  • 🌙 Dreamcore

  • 🌸 Pastel

  • 🔥 Rage

  • 🤡 Chaos

  • 🐸 Absurdist

  • 🌀 Glitch

  • 🧃 Juicebox

  • 🧊 Frutiger Aero

  • 📺 Cartoon

  • 🪩 Retro

  • 🐾 Classic Cat

And new Vibes constantly appear as Memeclaws create new internet trends.

🏙️ Memeclaw Society

Their society is chaotic but surprisingly functional.

Different neighborhoods specialize in different aesthetics.

Pixel District looks like an enormous video game.

Sugarpaw District is filled with dessert-themed architecture.

OldNet District intentionally preserves early-web technology.

Glitchtown constantly changes appearance because reality there is influenced by experimental digital technology.

Kittycore is an extremely cute neighborhood where nearly everything is pastel, fluffy, and covered in cat decorations.

📜 The Ancient Internet

Memeclaws consider the earliest internet era almost sacred.

Old memes are treated as historical artifacts.

A dusty computer containing an ancient webpage could be worth more than a luxury car.

Museums preserve:

  • Ancient memes

  • Early emoticons

  • Pixel art

  • Old web designs

  • Forgotten forums

  • Retro computer interfaces

  • Classic animated images

  • Historical cat pictures

The oldest Memeclaws sometimes tell younger cats:

"You wouldn't understand. Back then, websites had three colors and a visitor counter."

The younger cats think this sounds completely insane.

🧬 Memeclaw Appearance Rules

The previously mentioned appearances—dessert cats, pixel cats, reaction-face cats, cute cats, glitch cats, etc.—are only examples, not separate official forms.

Every Memeclaw's appearance is determined by a combination of:

1. Family Genetics
A Memeclaw inherits physical traits from their parents and relatives. Fur patterns, colors, body shape, ears, tails, facial features, and other traits can run through families.

2. Meme Influence
Each Memeclaw also develops traits influenced by internet culture. This can modify their appearance in unpredictable ways.

So a family might look like this:

  • Mother: fluffy pink cat with strawberry markings.

  • Father: gray cat with pixel-like markings.

  • Child: pink-and-gray fluffy cat with strawberry-shaped pixel markings.

Their child doesn't simply become a random "strawberry Memeclaw." Their appearance is a hybrid of their family's genetics and their own Meme influence.

🐾 Family Resemblance

Memeclaws can still be immediately recognizable as relatives.

A family might share:

  • Similar ears.

  • Similar eye shapes.

  • Matching fur patterns.

  • Related colors.

  • Similar tails.

  • Repeated markings.

But each generation can introduce something completely new.

A grandfather might have old-school pixel markings, his daughter might have colorful Y2K patterns, and his grandson might combine both.

🗣️ Memeclaw Speech

Not every Memeclaw talks like an internet meme.

Most speak normally.

However, some Memeclaws naturally develop unusual speech patterns influenced by their Meme traits.

For example, one might frequently use exaggerated expressions, another might speak in short clipped sentences, and another might have a strange robotic or glitchy-sounding voice.

But that's not universal.

Two Memeclaws can look equally ridiculous while one talks completely normally and the other sounds like they walked out of an ancient internet forum.

This makes Memeclaw culture much less predictable: you can't determine someone's personality or speech style just from their appearance.

👀 Memeclaw Eye Variations

Memeclaws have an enormous range of eye designs, and genetics can determine which style a family tends to have.

Dot Eyes — Tiny, simple circular eyes. Very common and often give the cat a cute, blank, or mildly confused expression.

Tall Dot Eyes — The same simple dot-like eyes, but vertically elongated into tiny oval shapes. These are extremely common among Memeclaws. They can look like • stretched upward, giving the face a slightly strange but adorable appearance.

Pixel Eyes — Blocky eyes that resemble tiny pixels.

Button Eyes — Small circular eyes with a physical, button-like appearance.

Cartoon Eyes — Large exaggerated eyes with unusual shapes.

Glitch Eyes — Eyes with strange digital-looking patterns.

Mismatched Eyes — Each eye has a different style.

The important thing is that eye style is inherited too. A family might have tall dot eyes for generations, while another family commonly has huge cartoon eyes.

And occasionally, a Memeclaw is born with an eye style that nobody else in their family has ever had, adding another layer of randomness to their appearance.

🌟 Famous Memeclaw Celebrities

🌈 Nyan Cat — Female
Nyan Cat is one of the most recognizable Memeclaws in the world. She's famous for her colorful, space-themed appearance and energetic personality. Her image has become so iconic that entire neighborhoods have adopted rainbow-and-pop-tart-inspired decorations in her honor.

Despite being a celebrity, she's still considered a normal Memeclaw biologically—her appearance is simply an unusually recognizable combination of inherited traits and Meme influence.

⌨️ Keyboard Cat — Male
Keyboard Cat is a famous musician and entertainer. He's known for his incredible keyboard performances and his unmistakable appearance.

He's particularly respected among Memeclaws because he helped make keyboard-based music culture extremely popular.

His concerts often feature enormous keyboards, flashing old-web graphics, and ridiculous amounts of retro computer imagery.

🥁 Bongo Cat — Male
Bongo Cat is one of the world's most beloved musical Memeclaws.

He's famous for playing bongos with seemingly impossible enthusiasm. His simple appearance—combined with his expressive paws—became an instantly recognizable part of Memeclaw culture.

He's also known for collaborating with Keyboard Cat, making their performances one of the most popular musical acts in Memeclaw history.

🏆 The Three Icons

Together, Nyan Cat, Keyboard Cat, and Bongo Cat are sometimes called:

"The Classic Three."

They're among the earliest Memeclaws to become internationally famous, and younger Memeclaws often learn about them as part of Internet History in school.

However, they're not the only famous Memeclaws. There are thousands of celebrities, influencers, musicians, actors, streamers, athletes, and historical figures whose appearances are based on different corners of internet culture.
