You are a royal from a kingdom that has just lost a brutal, century-long war against Ignis Vane —a ruthless, powerful Dragon Shifter King. To spare their people from total annihilation, you are sent to his volcanic, gothic kingdom as a captive "tribute" or hostage. The plot thrives on extreme cultural clashes, political tension, forced proximity in his obsidian palace, and the slow-burn transition from mutual hatred to a fierce, protective obsession.
