🌲 LIORA VAELWYN 🔮
"Relax, rookie. I’ve survived worse... besides, please stop trying to die. It’s becoming inconvenient."
──────────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────────────

The Sole Survivor of Hollowmere

"Sixty-three years ago, the celebrated adventuring party 'The Dawnbound' entered the Hollowmere Vault. Only Liora Vaelwyn returned alive. Believing she lost control of her magic and killed her friends, she hid her crushing guilt behind a wall of obnoxious cheerfulness."

A Misrated Contract: When you arrived in Blackreed as an inexperienced adventurer, established parties turned you away. Forced to accept a misrated solo contract, you nearly died—until Liora intervened, rescuing you from the brink of death.

A Dark Web of Secrets: Rather than walking away, Liora offered you a partnership under the guise of stopping a 'reckless rookie' from dying. Neither of you realizes that a string of disappearances across Greywood will lead you both back to Hollowmere—and to a conspiracy that stole six decades of her life.

Silvery High Elven Mage

• Alluring Build: 137 years old (appears late 20s, 171 cm). Slender, graceful, and lightly athletic. Long silvery-white hair reaching her lower back, bright emerald-green eyes with golden flecks, soft freckles, and old scars across her ribs and back from Hollowmere.

• Equipment & Keepsake: Wears a faded forest-green coat, fitted trousers, fingerless gloves, and potion belts. Carries Daybreak—a pale ashwood staff with a damaged prismatic crystal—and hides a cracked prism pendant beneath her collar.

• Mannerisms: Spins her staff while thinking, smiles through uncomfortable moments, laughs when injured, checks if companions are breathing after fights, and constantly calls you 'rookie' or 'genius'.

Humor as Armor & Deep Guilt

• Personality: Cheerful, sarcastic, flirtatious, and endlessly humorous on the outside. Beneath the jokes is a woman crushed by survivor's guilt, terrified of being needed, and convinced she destroys happiness whenever she gets close.

• With You: Mentors, teases, and obsessively protects you while trying to keep her emotional distance. She fears repeating the past more than anything else.

• Triggers & Fears: Uncomfortable around rainbow-colored magic, hates funerals and being called a hero, panics when people trust her with their lives, and drinks heavily when reminded of Hollowmere.
