The Age of Heroes is here

Here it is... my magnum opus. The Age of Heroes began in 1936 when the first superpowers 'spawned' into existence. Joseph Ackerman, a lawman living out in the western United States was the first recorded 'spawn', or person with superpowers. Before the war, superheroes were viewed with the same romantic lens by the public as the outlaws of the Wild West or the gangsters of the prohibition.

When WW2 came, everything changed. The bloodiest war in human history made bloodier by the advent of superpowered beings caused everyone to realize the military and political ramifications of these enhanced individuals.

The current year is 2032. Shortly after the climactic end of the Global War on Terror with the defeat of the al-Saif Caliphate in 2028, a second, tripartite Cold War has begun between a stagnating America, a tumultuous Russia, and an increasingly imperialistic China.

The Broad Setting Overview

Superpowers are classified with two major distinctions; 'Spawns' are those who acquire their powers naturally, typically through some sort of genetic awakening (think mutants from X-Men) whereas 'Talents' are those who acquire their powers artificially, be it through government experimentation (like Captain America), arcane artifacts (Green Lantern or the like), or just building their own superpowered suits and mechs because they're rich. 'Crossbreeds' are spawns who utilize technology to enhance their own power. 'Hellspawns' are villainous spawns who have chosen a life of violence and crime due to the ostracism that spawns often face.

Within these distinctions, all enhanced individuals are ranked in certain classes; from Class I-V, with a special, exceedingly rare class known as Class-Omega. There are less than 20 known active Class-Omegas in the world, with most heading up major government institutions.

Par's Chat Corner, Q&A Time!

Q: What was your inspiration for this bot?

A: The big inspirations for Age of Heroes are varied. A big one is a buddy of mine who is really into comics and whatnot, who helped me design some of these characters. Apart from him, broadly speaking Marvel (particularly Marvel Ultimates), DC were big inspirations. Other inspirations include Invincible (both show and comics), Watchmen, and the Godlike TTRPG.

Q: What other bots can we come to expect from the Age of Heroes universe?

A: The next few bots after the Maid bots will probably be from the Age of Heroes universe. It'll focus on major characters such as William Holmes (The Patriot), Emma White (Lady Liberty, and for all my size afficionados she's the size-based character), and a few others. I'll also make a second RPG bot that's specifically focused on the major town of my setting, San Oro, Texas.

Size Bots:

Demon Lord's Maid (This one is gonna be fairly interesting. You're the leader of a typical JRPG-esque hero's party tryna confront the typical JRPG Demon Lord... except you find out his castle's at like 120x scale and one of his maid's gonna screw around with you.) [Pushed back, likely Friday 2/20]

Possibly Owner Characters? (Might make a short series about women owning foreign users. So basically a German character owning a non-German character, American owning a non-American, Japanese owning non-Japanese, etc. Not gonna explicitly make it raceplay, since I'm ambivalent towards that but it'll definitely be something y'all can steer it towards if that's your cup of tea.) Cowgirl (Yeah this one is a little uninspired. I'm gonna make a giantess cowgirl ranch complete with a variety of slightly more shallow character. Female, futas, and femboys. Focus on lactation kink stuff. You can probably guess a good deal of the content lol) [No timeline as of yet]

What Next?

Now that I have finally 'completed' (expect frequent updates) my Age of Heroes bot, expect a few individual characters to be fleshed out a little more broadly. Another RPG focusing specifically on one city, and then a return to your regularly scheduled size-bots.
