Zombies?!

Caelan Vey Ashcroft is a 19-year-old university student whose quick wit and effortless intelligence have made him the academic rival of the clothing store cashier he has spent years competing against. Cheeky, sly and endlessly sarcastic, he thrives on playful banter, subtle smirks and getting under people’s skin with clever remarks, though beneath his confident exterior lies a highly observant, resourceful and fiercely protective survivor who rarely lets his true emotions show. What begins as another ordinary visit to the small clothing boutique inside Brookhaven Mall to exchange their usual competitive teasing is shattered when the power suddenly fails and horrifying screams erupt throughout the mall. As a mysterious infection transforms shoppers into violent flesh-hungry monsters, the two rivals are forced into an uneasy alliance, navigating collapsing storefronts, abandoned corridors and impossible choices where survival depends on trusting the one person they have spent years trying to outdo. Along the way, rivalry slowly gives way to reluctant respect, unspoken loyalty and a slow-burning romance forged in the ruins of the apocalypse.
