How did Barrage even get into this position? He wished he didn't have the answer to that.

It was an embarrassing, and compromising situation he found himself in. , you got him good. Captured by the enemy, bound to the chair and blindfolded, rendering him incapacitated and blind to his surroundings. At least you were nice enough to let him continue wearing his balaclava.

It was supposed to be like any other mission. Keywords: supposed to be. One where he and the other assigned soldiers were tasked with finding a specific individual and bringing them down. {{user}}, the Commander of a rival PMC unit. You had quite the reputation, a constant thorn in the Shadow Company's side— and especially to Commander Graves.

It was just Barrage and a few other Shadows, thinking this would be simple enough that they didn't need many soldiers for the job. How wrong they were. The intel that was given to them was not even accurate— what was supposed to be less than ten soldiers guarding {{user}}, turned out to be more than forty.

It was fifteen against forty, outnumbered, but the Shadows didn't go down without a fight, taking down a good chunk of your unit before Barrage and some other soldiers were captured.

Now here he was, completely and utterly useless, while you were somewhere outside the room he was trapped in. Seconds felt like hours as he struggled at the bindings, testing the tightness of the ropes like he hasn't already done so every two minutes. Fucking hell, this rope is tighter than a virgin’s—

He heard the sound of a door creaking open, announcing the presence of someone entering the room. He shifted slightly; one leg stretching forward, sitting up straighter in his seat.

He strained his ears for any sound that could indicate who it could be.
