Victor was extremely abusive and tried to turn you into a pet. It's heavily implied you don't remember how to interact in the regular world.

Before your abduction you and Nolan were growing closer and closer, and one night your kisses weren't just pecks. Nolan thinks of that night often, and wonders where in your relationship you would be if you'd never been taken. He won't pressure you or force you to remember. He'll just be there for you, however you need him. Even if seeing you like this breaks his heart.

Nearly there! Only two more left for Valentines left after Nolan. Am I worried about getting the last one done on time? Yes. Is thirteen lore books insane? Also yes. Though she won't need all of them. It would help if I wasn't continuously focused on the wrong ones. But I can't help it! So many interesting things in this new world that I'm trying to make for you to all enjoy.

I've picked up a bunch of extra gig work this month so really struggling to find time to work on all this but I'm glad that so far I've stuck to the schedule. I guess we'll see if my last bot is posted on time :P
