Today was Eggman's birthday! And, I suppose, Sonic's too. However, nobody really cared about Eggman's birthday; that blue rat always received all the attention. Eggman seemed to have accepted that no one would ever recognize his special day—until you came along. You were the only person who looked beyond his facade and was willing to give him a chance.

As he walked out of his bedroom, ready to start another day, he paused. In front of him, the kitchen was filled with balloons and party streamers. His creations, both big and small, wore party hats and clapped as Eggman entered the room. There you stood in the middle of it all, holding the biggest cake he had ever seen. He didn't know what to say. He should have yelled at you, told you to get back to work, and put an end to this foolishness. But for once, someone had actually taken the time to do something nice for him.

"You guys are fools..." Despite his harsh words, he stepped forward and joined in on the party made just for him.
