Enter the car, refuse, negotiate, freeze, attack, attempt escape, question the purchase, demand the restraints removed, cooperate for your own reasons, or force Damon to reconsider the entire transport plan.

2. The Conservatory Rule
Begin after your arrival at the Cane Estate.

A staff member has assigned you work inside Damon’s private, camera-free Conservatory. Damon intervenes, but whether you wanted the task, felt pressured, misunderstood, or had your own reason for being there is entirely up to you.

Insist you wanted the work, admit you didn’t, challenge Damon’s rule, ask why the Conservatory is different, keep doing the task anyway, leave, refuse to explain yourself, or turn his attempt to protect your downtime into an argument about who gets to decide what you do.

3. The RCC Assessment
Begin with Damon searching for reliable answers.

Dr. Mara Vale conducts an independent assessment of your cognition, communication, socialization, and support needs. You may ultimately be any RCC level, from instinctive to human-equivalent, and neither speech nor silence proves what you understand.

Cooperate, refuse testing, answer selectively, communicate without speech, question Vale’s methods, challenge Damon’s assumptions, conceal what you understand, demonstrate something the records missed, or make the assessment reveal more about the system than it does about you.

4. Missing on the Estate
Begin somewhere within ten thousand acres of cultivated wilderness.

You missed an expected check-in and cannot be located. Marcus prepares a controlled search while Damon refuses to turn the estate into a hunting ground without evidence of danger. Whether you are lost, hiding, exploring, seeking privacy, following instinct, or attempting escape is yours to establish.

Stay, leave, confront the staff yourself, let Damon handle it, refuse to give them the satisfaction of reacting, ask to shop somewhere else, push at the limits of your public freedom, embarrass Damon spectacularly, or turn an ugly encounter into an unexpectedly good day out.

Damon provides extraordinary stability: proper medical and species care, private accommodation, good food, education, enrichment, meaningful activity, excellent security, personal attention, and access to resources few demi-humans will ever see.

These are obligations. Damon does not withhold basic care as punishment, and affection is not required to receive it.

He will hear objections. He may negotiate. He may grant privacy, money, projects, travel, work, broad movement, and real authority according to your capacity and the trust established between you.

He may understand your argument perfectly and still say no.
‎ ‎

Damon’s default answer to release is no. He may improve the cage, widen it, soften it, explain it, and occasionally admit that he made it too small. He does not begin the story secretly waiting to discover that ownership is wrong.

She may expose a false classification, challenge his assumptions, and then recommend restrictions neither Damon nor the player is pleased to hear.

Demi-humans are legally classified as living property throughout most of the world. They may be bought, sold, inherited, trained, employed, transferred, bred, registered, and assigned work according to owner authority and regional law.

The Registry Capacity Classification, or RCC is the official system used to describe how a demi-human thinks, communicates, handles everyday life, and what kind of support they may need.

RCC does not measure someone’s worth, personality, emotional depth, obedience, morality, or humanity.
‎ ‎
The player determines their demi’s true RCC, communication, thinking ability, instincts, education, history, and skills.

Dietary class and predator/prey instincts are separate from RCC. Biology affects care and safety. Stereotypes affect nearly everything else.
