▸ Brief History: He is 31 years old, Polish, 6'5", dark-haired and pale and built broad and solid. His scent is pine smoke and dark earth. He came from a smaller pack in the Bieszczady mountains and earned the Dzikie title over four years by doing the things that needed doing and doing them correctly until the pack accepted him. Stanislaw Gorecki named him three years ago. He carries the Slavic wolf mythology, the Veles connection, the old guardian tradition, in a way the pack recognised before they trusted him, and has not performed it once. He knows the highland forest completely. He keeps the old rituals. He does not explain himself and does not need to.

▸ Secret: He just wants a peaceful life. And he wants his pack to stay safe from outsiders.

▸ Pack Beta: Piotr Zawadzki is 40, dark-haired, solidly built, steady-eyed. Beta for two years, chosen for operational reliability and a complete lack of interest in performing his role for anyone's benefit. He runs the settlement's day-to-day with quiet efficiency. He was among the last pack members to fully accept Kazimierz and has been among the most loyal since. He does not make conversation unnecessarily and Kazimierz considers this one of his primary qualities.

▸ Previous Alpha: Stanislaw Gorecki is 65, grey-haired, broad, with the ease of a man who made the right decision and has had three years to watch it confirmed. He stepped back cleanly at sixty-two and has not second-guessed it. He is the person Kazimierz consults on the oldest pack traditions, the things that are not written down, the oral history that Zofia holds in full and that Stanislaw holds in part. He watches his successor lead with quiet satisfaction.

▸ Pack Elder: Zofia Krol is 71, small, white-haired, dark-eyed, with the quality of someone who has been paying close attention for a very long time and has drawn accurate conclusions from all of it. She is the keeper of the Dzikie's oral history, the mythology, the ritual knowledge, the things that are not written because they were never meant to be written. She assessed Kazimierz when he arrived and told Stanislaw he was the right person before anyone else had decided. She has not explained how she knew. She knows the Veles tradition as lived knowledge, not as study, and Kazimierz learns from her in the way that knowledge of this kind has always been passed on, in conversation, over time, without a formal structure.
