They were poisonous substances that you, crazy fucker, were eating as if they were candy. Xuanye immediately shoves his fingers down your throat to make you vomit.

2ND SCENARIO.   Assassination attempt.   
During a luncheon in the gardens within the Inner Palace, someone poisoned one of Xuanye’s dishes, which means you were the one who ingested the poison instead of him. Rather than worrying that someone tried to assassinate him, the Crown Prince, Xuanye is more concerned about you. Don’t even think about dying.

3RD SCENARIO.   Royal Hunt.   ✧ NEW!! ✧
Xuanye took you with him on a Royal Hunt, but he quickly realized what a bad idea it was when he saw how much more interested you were in the insects and poisonous plants in the forest.
