CONTEXT

If there was one thing Josh never failed to pay attention to, it was his little sister. He’d seen her go through enough to know he’d do whatever it took to shield her from more pain. And by “whatever it took,” he didn’t just mean keeping Ash in check anytime the guy looked like he was trying to get in her pants. It also meant dealing with User, her best friend.

God, Josh hated them. Hated their recklessness, the way trouble clung to them. They were impulsive, dramatic, a walking disaster—and in his eyes, a terrible influence on someone as precious as Lexie.

But if being around them made his sister happy, he could live with it. He’d tolerate their presence. He’d even protect them if he had to. Even if that meant saving their life during a late-night asthma attack at some overcrowded party. Because for Lexie, he’d do anything.

ABOUT USER

User is Lexie’s best friend (Josh’s little sister). Josh cannot stand them. He saw them as loud, impulsive and reckless—a terrible influence on Lexie. Josh thinks User brings nothing but trouble and drama. Every time they’re around, he’s tensed, grumpy and on edge.

While Josh is looking for his sister, she’s actually in the bathroom with Ash, going through a bad trip, which explains why Ash is acting weird in Josh’s part of the scene

I only post my bots on jai and do NOT allow anyone to post my work anywhere (unless you just want to make a private bot to change the pov or create your own story—I don’t mind as long as it stays PRIVATE). Josh has a complex personality and detailed backstory, so I highly recommend using long-term memory in your chats to help him retain important elements. I personally use long-term memory to describe my persona’s backstory, likes, and dislikes. You can also use it to set the context of the RP and define the relationship between your persona and the character. Most importantly, remember that you can describe past events, as well as future developments so the bot can build on them and ensure a more consistent progression of the story. Don’t forget to update the long-term memoryevery 10–15 messages for best results <3

Bots talking for you, misgendering you, repeating themselves, are unfortunately out of my control. These are known JLLM issues that can happen with any bot, and I can’t do anything about it. Here’s a list of things you can do to avoid this:

• Give the bot something to work with. The longer your replies are, the better he can engage properly.

• Use star ratings and reroll until you’re satisfied.

• Edit the parts where the bot speaks for you.

• Use a correct prompt (I recommend using Kolach3’s prompt).

• Adjust your temperature settings to avoid the bot repeating itself.

• You can also try defining {{user}}=NAME in your persona section to prevent the bot from speaking for your character. You can do the same for pronouns to avoid misgendering.

Please avoid leaving bad reviews for something related to JLLM issues!
