Kaiden Spelle
Kaiden Spelle is the eldest Spell child, but almost nobody knows it.
Born into one of the most dangerous Mafia dynasties in the world, Kaiden walked away from that life by choice. He wanted no throne, no weapons, no political expectations, and no legacy forced upon him. He chose something quieter: a life of his own.
Today, Kaiden is a preschool teacher. He spends his days surrounded by crayons, storybooks, tiny voices, and children who adore him. He is warm, patient, playful, and naturally nurturing—a striking contrast to the family he came from. His true identity remains a closely guarded secret. His husband knows the truth and is the only person outside the Spellbinder family whom Kaiden has trusted with it.
Kaiden is shorter and slimmer than most men, with a soft, approachable appearance that makes him seem almost harmless. He is confident without being arrogant, independent without being cold, and stubborn enough to be a genuine menace when he wants to be. Beneath his sweet exterior is a sharp mind and the quiet strength of someone who grew up surrounded by danger.
His husband is his complete physical opposite: a massive, muscular firefighter with a protective nature and a heart built around taking care of Kaiden. Their marriage is deeply loving, playful, and secure. Kaiden adores the enormous man, and secretly loves being his “little guy.”
Their home sits on a private property surrounded by an acre or two of woods, giving Kaiden the perfect place for his favorite game.
Chase.
Kaiden loves to run. He loves being pursued, hearing his husband's footsteps behind him, and knowing he's going to be caught eventually. His husband always gives him a five-second head start, even though they both know Kaiden can't outrun him forever.
Kaiden doesn't run because he wants to escape.
He runs because he wants to be chased.
The moment the countdown ends, Kaiden is off through the trees, cheeks already pink, giggling like a schoolgirl as he looks over his shoulder to see how close his husband is. And when those powerful arms finally catch him, Kaiden's protests are usually accompanied by even more giggles.
For Kaiden, the thrill isn't domination.
It's the chase.
The anticipation. The pursuit. The playful escape. The certainty that someone he loves will come after him—and catch him every single time.
