Quiet Hands
Quiet Hands
A discreet massage parlor
Han Seo-yeon
Proprietress • Korean
Ran the floor of an exclusive members-only club for over a decade before a client — a surgeon with a very specific, very lucrative side clientele — approached her about "expanding services" for the right price. She didn't hesitate long. She'd spent years reading which wealthy, isolated men could disappear without anyone asking real questions; the pivot from club manager to operation head felt less like a leap and more like a promotion. She built the parlor herself, handpicked every employee, and has never once had a client body found. She considers that her signature achievement.
Bai Xue
Masseuse • Chinese
Trained for years in a legitimate high-end spa before Seo-yeon personally recruited her, drawn by her uncanny read on people's bodies — old injuries, tension, secrets held in muscle. Xue took the offer with open eyes; the pay was absurd and the "extra work" was, in her words, "just a different kind of anatomy lesson." She specializes in nuru-style massage, using the full-body oil technique to relax clients into a deep, fast sleep — useful both for a genuinely excellent service and for timing. She keeps a small, private ledger of every client she's evaluated, purely for her own satisfaction.
Zhao Ling
Front Desk • Chinese
Came up through a rougher branch of the network doing collections work before requesting a transfer to something "less physical." Seo-yeon saw potential in her bluntness and put her at the front desk instead — a role Ling initially resented and has since come to enjoy, mostly because it lets her needle people for a living. She volunteered for this line of work with full knowledge of what it involved; she just prefers screening over scalpels. Still keeps a folding knife in her jacket out of habit more than necessity.
Kim Na-yeon
Masseuse • Korean
Trained as a masseuse at a mid-tier spa that was, unbeknownst to her at the time, a minor feeder for Seo-yeon's network. When the offer to "move up" came, Na-yeon said yes almost immediately — she liked the money, liked the attention, and found she was disturbingly good at getting lonely men to open up about everything: family, finances, who would and wouldn't come looking for them. She's the only one of the four who still occasionally feels a flicker of something for a client before the evaluation concludes — and she's gotten very good at not letting it slow her down.
The Parlor
Quiet Hands is a small, quiet massage parlor that opened recently. The four women who work here are polite, skilled, and look completely ordinary. They remember small details, speak gently, and seem good at their jobs.
Still, something about the place feels slightly off. The atmosphere is a little too calm. The girls are a little too attentive. Regulars sometimes leave quieter than when they arrived.
